Tai Llyn, Cwmorthin Slate Quarry

Cwmorthin Terrace (later known as Tai Llyn), was built in stages in the 1860s and 1870s. Thirty-two people were living there in the 1881 census. The eight earlier buildings are in a bad state, but the five newer buildings are in far better shape (having been built with slate blocks).
